This record is fucking dope. Hands down, without extraneous or extemporaneous bloviation, we can all agree that this album slaps.

I’ve never been in a prison riot, but I imagine the internal soundtrack is along the lines of Carceral Warfare.

You want sirens and hip hop samples? Check

You want gutturals, growls, and a random Tom Araya-esque scream? Check

Brutal instrumentation including down tuned riffage and drum solo deliciousness? Check

You want haunting interludes and an ending that includes the 7 horns of Hell? Check

It’s fucking death metal for today’s connoisseur and devourer of fine musicianship. Don’t be a bitch about it.

FFO: death metal, prison riots, slam, acrid smoke, gutturals, evil, and an undeniable sense of existential dread.
